Based on my (questionably) popular "overheards" and "hypotheticals" previously seen on my Facebook page.
#1, shopping at the GAP is not shopping at Nordstrom. IQ points are not necessarily a job requirement at the GAP. #2, it depends on which state because in some states the % off comes off after sales tax. Some states it comes off BEFORE.
But 25% off each item or 25% off the total purchase is still 25% off...is it not? Did I fail math that badly?
25% off the total purchase before or after tax? I'm just being picayunish about it. It really is (was) a dumb question. And the answer is pretty dumb too.
25% off is 25% off, whether it's per item or the total!
